KEEN’s mission is “to graduate engineers with an entrepreneurial mind-set so they can create personal, economic, and societal value through a lifetime of meaningful work”. A study was commissioned to evaluate the impact of KEEN to date in inspiring and supporting reform to US-based engineering undergraduate education. The aim of the study is is to provide independent evidence of the impact of participating in the KEEN network on the capacity, motivation and leverage of its members to embed the development of an entrepreneurial mind-set their engineering programs.
The study will be conducted between late 2018 and the summer of 2019. It will draw upon confidential one-to-one interview and survey evidence from the members of the KEEN network.
